One of the best things about social media is the ability to reach people who enjoy the same hobbies. The teaching aspect is super appealing to me. I surf for projects all the time. Sometimes I make what I find. Sometimes it’s visually inspiring. The zipper pouch featured below was made from a video tutorial that had English subtitles. Since the making of my bag, the blogger who created the pattern has had instructions translated into English from German. How cool is that for you? A little easier than the way I made mine. If you like the project, check out Ina in Berlin who posted the bag pattern on her blog Pattydoo. I found it surfing, had to make it in spite of the language difference. After all we speak sewing and that was enough for me to give it a try. Thank goodness for subtitles. Aren’t bloggers cool?!? They share so much.

This month we celebrate Thanksgiving. In my last post I recognized how grateful I am to have loved ones still with me. Another thing to be grateful for in November, is when someone lets their goodness shine, and I find it, and make it! This will be a “make again project” for me. It’s a scrap buster.
