The Moda Love Layercake Quilt

This is probably going to be the last quilt I make in 2017.

Stitching the blocks together.

Last night I finished the quilting.

A close up look at the pine tree quilt design.
I chose thread that picks up several of the fabric colors.

Next on my list, is to trim and bind. The fabric is a layer cake mixed with black yardage that I picked up a few years ago. I plan to make the pattern again in fresh crisp colors . The free pattern is called Moda love layercake.  

That’s one big quilt! It’s going to make a great Christmas gift.

Im adding another picture to the post of the finished quilt. I completed the binding, washed, dried and just now wrapped it as a gift. The last stitch went in December 21,2017. Wishing all of you a happy, healthy, New Year!

I’m happy the finished with a heart warming gift for one of the men in my life.
